STRICTLY star Julian Caillon has revealed he spent Christmas with four of his co-stars as he shared plans to leave the UK in a surprise admission.
The professional dancer, 29, had been hoping to join the show for years and was finally named as one of two of Strictly Come Dancing 2025’s new pro dancers.
Julian took to Instagram to share his festive celebrations and captioned the snaps: “Such an incredible last 3 days in the UK celebrating Christmas with some even more incredible people.”
In one snap he is seen cosying up to his fiancée Sofia Ochoa as they enjoy a boat ride.
In another he is joking around with professional dancer Aljaž Škorjanec and presumably Strictly’s Janette Manrara as they poked fun at each other.
Strictly professional Karen Hauer is also seen out on a wintery dog walk with him and some friends.
And he appears to be watching Neil Jones build some furniture as they all wear matching Christmas pjs.
However, Julian who is an Australian dancer and choreographer seems to be heading home for a winter break.
He ended his post with: “Time to enjoy some sun for the next couple weeks.”
Julian was a professional dancer on 3 seasons of Dancing with the Stars from 2020 to 2022.
In 2014 he appeared as a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance Australia and later went to on to tour the hit live show Burn the Floor.
When he’s not dancing, Julian works as a personal trainer and exercise physiologist.
In this year’s Strictly, Julian was partnered up with EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopa.
But viewers were left fuming after Balvinder and Julian were shown the door, in week 12’s semi-final and have said she “didn’t stand a chance”.
The celebrities and their pro partners were tasked with performing two dances to secure a place in the grand final.
But only three couples were allowed through to the final – meaning one pair would be facing the chop.
EastEnders star Balvinder and West End’s Amber Davies found themselves in the bottom two in the show.
After a fierce dance off, it was down to the judges to cast their vote, with Craig Revel Horwood having the deciding vote.
But Balvinder, who has made history as the first celebrity to survive five dance-offs, was out of luck.
The judges unanimously voted to save Amber and pro dancer Nikita Kuzmin, meaning Balvinder and Julian Caillon’s time was up.
