Celeb secrets to battling ‘Ozempic face’ revealed by Christine McGuinness, Amy Childs and Peter Andre’s aesthetics guru

AN aesthetics guru to celebrities including Christine McGuinness, Amy Childs and Peter Andre has revealed the secrets to avoiding ‘Ozempic face’.

The term was coined to describe the unwanted effects of weight loss jabs, with some users complaining of sagging skin and sunken eyes.

Roy Cowley, one of the UK’s most influential aesthetic leaders, saw this problem coming and has launched what he’s calling “the fix for Ozempic face” and post-weight-loss skin sag.

3D ReFIRM is the first treatment designed specifically to tackle the skin-laxity and muscle loss that rapid weight loss from Ozempic or Mounjaro can leave behind.

It can be used on both the face and the body and uses a combination of radiofrequency, infrared light and massage to tighten loose skin.

“Everyone rushed to celebrate the weight-loss revolution,” said Roy. “But nobody stopped to consider the aftermath. I did. I saw the skin-laxity crisis coming and built the solution before the problem peaked.

DOUBLE WIN

I love my ‘Ozempic face’ – I look 10 yrs younger & I’ve lost 60lbs & kept it off

“People think the hard part is losing the weight – but the real challenge starts afterward. Skin doesn’t always bounce back, especially with rapid weight loss. 3D ReFIRM is about giving people back the tone, firmness and confidence they deserve.

“I’ve had clients in tears because they’ve finally hit their dream weight, but they look in the mirror and don’t recognise their own body. This treatment changes that. It firms, it lifts, and it gives them back control over how they look.”

After more than 20 years shaping the UK aesthetics scene – and with a star-studded client list including Christine McGuinness, Olivia Bowen, Amy Childs, Danielle Lloyd, Peter Andre and Antony Costa – Roy, founder of 3D Aesthetics, says he saw the weight job injection crisis coming “a year before it hit”.

He worked tirelessly on a first-of-its-kind non-invasive treatment combining radio frequency skin tightening and electromagnetic muscle stimulation.

Roy claims clinical trials have shown up to 80 per cent improvement in skin firmness, tackling the loose, crepey skin many are left with after shedding pounds fast.

Towie star Amy famously used it earlier this year after her drastic two stone weight loss following stress from her mum’s ill health.

Mum of four Amy – who briefly used fat jabs two years ago – recently shared a video of herself on Instagram, telling fans: “So guys, I’m on a journey to feel my most confident self.

“After having four children, dealing with weight loss and stress, my body has been through a lot! But it’s September and the perfect time to reset and create new goals.”

The 35-year-old beautician went on to speak about a treatment which claims to “help tighten and firm up” the tummy after losing some elasticity.

A representative for Amy told The Sun: “Two years ago, she briefly tried weight loss injections, but they made her feel unwell and really sick, so she stopped them immediately.

What is 3D ReFirm?

The 3D ReFirm combines radiofrequency energy, infrared light, and ‘mechanical massage’ to target loose or sagging skin.

The radiofrequency penetrates the skin’s deeper layers which stimulates collagen production and tightens existing collagen fibres. The infrared light enhances circulation and deep tissue heating, further boosting collagen and elastin production. The mechanical massage, meanwhile, improves circulation and reduces fluid retention, helping to smooth the skin’s texture. This 3-in-1 approach delivers a comprehensive ‘3D effect’ – tightening skin while improving its overall tone and texture.

“After having her babies, she wanted to feel like herself again and worked with a nutritionist, which helped her lose weight in a healthy way.

“Still, she was left with a tummy that felt jiggly and loose. This year, after her mum became ill, she lost more weight due to stress which she has spoken about on the show as well as the stress of cancelling a wedding.

“Following this she has felt a renewed drive to focus on her health.

“Through balanced nutrition, consistent training and support from 3D ReFirm treatments, she’s now on a journey to become fitter, stronger, and healthier, inside and out and tackle the areas of concern like her crepey skin on her tummy.”

Roy began working on the project 12 months ago alongside medical experts developing the treatment before the ‘fat jab’ frenzy exploded. The treatments cost £1,000 upwards depending on the protocol.

According to Mobility Foresights, the UK skin-tightening market is forecast to hit around £1.8 billion in 2025, growing by almost 15 per cent year-on-year through the next decade.

“The industry wasn’t ready for the fallout, but we were,” said Roy.

“The weight loss injections did their job. Now we’re here to help complete the journey.

“Clients are saying, ‘I’ve never been this slim, and I want to feel confident in it.’”

He calls it “the biggest aesthetic challenge of the decade” – and says his team have finally cracked it.

“This is the fix everyone’s been waiting for,” he added.

“Safe, proven, and built to help people feel as good as they look.”
