WHILE some Love Island stars became household names, others vanished from the spotlight just as quickly as they arrived.
From explosive bust-ups to scandals that sparked more than 1,500 Ofcom complaints, these islanders caused absolute chaos in the villa.
But how many of these 11 forgotten stars can you still name?
1. SEASON 2
This controversial star was booted from the villa after just a few hours during the show’s second series in 2016 after a violent clash with Kady McDermott.
Viewers will remember when she accused her co-star of deliberately spilling a drink on her, seconds later she squared up to Kady sparking a fight that got her sent home moments later.
2. SEASON 6
The islander caused waves when he exited the villa just three days after entering it.
At the time he told viewers and his fellow islanders dating other people on the ITV programme made him realise he was still in love with his ex.
Although, many believed he was secretly axed after he was exposed as a big game hunter who had posed with an array of dead animals that he killed in Africa.
3. SEASON 9
The brunette bombshell caused a stir after locking lips with Will Young, despite him being in a couple with Jessie Wynter during Casa Amor.
Fans of the show were far from convinced of her interest in Farmer Will and it seems he wasn’t feeling it either as he failed to re-couple with the reality beauty leaving her dumped from the villa just as quickly as she arrived.
4. SEASON 4
The Casa Amor star caused chaos after she revealed she was the ex of fellow co-star Jack Fincham, she entered the Hidden Hills villa in 2018 to win him back – much to the upset of his then girlfriend Dani Dyer.
It was even revealed that she had sent her ex a message begging him to sleep with her a day before he entered the villa in a last minute bid to win him back.
5). SEASON 7
His short stint on the show was made controversial after it emerged he had previously used a racist remark in a social media post.
A staggering 1,500 complaints were made to Ofcom when he entered the villa and he was quick to apologise for the use of the highly offensive word and was dumped five days later.
6. SEASON 8
The reality TV contestant was dropped from the ITV2 dating show after a rather forgettable stint in the villa.
The star was vying for singleton Ikenna Ekwonna affections against Indiyah Polack but she was dumped after just five days, and went on to quit fame altogether.
7. SEASON 10
This Casa Amor bombshell’s Love Island journey would be short-lived after she was dumped from the island after failing to couple-up with anyone.
She shook things up on the show with then contestants Sammy Root and Jess Harding after she and Sammy shared a kiss but at a recoupling player Sammy opted to couple up with another Casa girl instead.
8). SEASON 1
These twins were the first ever Love Island stars to be dumped from the villa, the identical pair brought big smiles and a bit of flamboyancy, but it didn’t help them find partners on the show.
During their villa exit they were branded as ignorant by fans after not being particularly complimentary of their female co-stars following their goodbyes.
9). SEASON 3
This bombshell was just 18 at the time when she stepped foot in the villa to ruffle a few feathers as a Casa Amor newbie.
The model took part in the sexy charades and raunchy races challenge and put on a steamy display after making the moves on Kem Cetinay, the pair shared a bed and even locked lips, but she only ended up lasting 2 days on the show.
10). SEASON 1
Appearing in the villa back in 2015, this Love Island star coupled up with Luis Morrison, who went on to have a child with fellow Islander Cally Jane Beech.
She got the boot around half way through the competition after a forgettable run on the show.
11. SEASON 3
This forgotten Casa bombshell was sent packing from paradise after a shocking mass dumping which saw seven islanders axed from the show.
She was dumped after she lucked out with no one choosing to couple up with her in the end.

6. Afia Tonkmor – After the show Afia decided to quit fame and move abroad she has since spent a year travelling around Asia.
7. Gabby Jeffery – She is now an influencer with over 30,000 followers on Instagram often sharing her glamourous life with her followers.
8. John and Tony Alberti – The twins are now chefs who have created their own YouTube cooking channel and written their own cookbook Twintastico.
9. Amelia Peters – After her Love Island stint Amelia caused controversy after she struck up a romance with shamed acid attack jailbird Arthur Collins.
10. Danielle Pyne – Since leaving the show, Danielle now permanently lives in Ibiza and works as a DJ.
11. Ellisha-Jade White – After her Love Island stint Ellisha is now a fashion and lifestyle blogger, owner of a marketing agency and the host of her own podcast Get Me Off.
