
A WOMAN has suddenly died in a UK spa town with a man arrested in connection with her death.
Emergency services pronounced the woman, in her 20s, dead at a property in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service were called to the property on Skipton Road on December 23 to reports the woman had died suddenly.
She was tragically confirmed dead at the scene.
North Yorkshire Police confirmed a man in his 20s had been arrested in connection with her death.
However, they added that following enquiries he was released with no further action.
The woman’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for the force said: “At around 10.19am yesterday we were called by the ambulance service to the sudden death of a woman in her 20s at a property near Skipton Road, Harrogate.
“There has been a police presence at the scene, whilst enquiries were carried out.
“Following a thorough investigation, we can confirm that we are not treating the woman’s death as suspicious.
“A man in his 20s was arrested in connection with the woman’s death, but he has now been released with no further action following the necessary enquiries.”
Yorkshire Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
