Manchester City are on quite the roll at the minute and again have the opportunity to jump top of the table – at least for a couple of hours.
For the second weekend running, Pep Guardiola’s men kick-off earlier in the day than leaders Arsenal, allowing them to put pressure on Mikel Arteta’s men.
It’s now seven wins in a row for City who are firing at both ends of the park, having recorded four clean sheets in their last five games also.
Scoring 13 goals in those five games is a decent return, with Erling Haaland bagging another brace last weekend to keep his strong first half of this campaign going.
They now head to Nottingham Forest on Saturday with a point to prove after Forest beat them earlier this year in last season’s league contest here.
But Forest’s inconsitencies are just holding them back slightly, with the form of their last seven games being WLWLWWL.
You have to say it’s far better than their form earlier in the season but they’ve followed up a superb 3-0 win over Tottenham by losing on Monday night at Fulham.
A real game of two halves saw them much the second best in the first half before dominating the second period when chasing an equaliser.
They’ll need a full 90 minute performance here if they want anything out the game.
