LOVE Island couple Ty Isherwood and Angel Swift have jetted abroad for their first romantic Christmas together after defying speculation they wouldn’t last.
The pair were the last couple to get together after Angel was introduced as the final bombshell on this year’s series.
The two ended up making it to the final and ended up coming in fourth place, but since leaving the villa, they’ve been subjected to speculation that they wouldn’t go the distance.
Putting the naysayers to one side, Ty and Angel headed on a ski holiday together as they celebrated their first Christmas together.
She took to Instagram to post a video of them in their full skiing outfits, complete with gloves aviator shades.
The couple are seen dancing as he picks her up and they go in for a smooch, with Drake’s Money in the Grave playing in the background.
Angel captioned the post: “Fit check.”
He posted a similar video to his own Instagram as the pair danced along in the snow on the top of a mountain.
Clearly having an absolute bell, he wrote: “Had worse Christmas eves.”
Shortly after leaving the villa, Ty surprised Angel with a romantic gesture during a hotel stay where he asked her to be his girlfriend.
The room was decorated with red rose petals scattered on the bed, multiple balloons including a heart-shaped one.
There was also an inflatable banner along the bed that read “will you be my girlfriend”.
He even bought his new girlfriend a big bouquet of red roses and she looked smitten as she posed with them on the bed.
Just days after becoming official, she surprised him with a trip to Venice for his birthday.
He revealed a white card on which he had scratched out a gold panel revealing the destination of his celebratory trip.
In her neat handwriting, Angel had penned: “I love you.”
She had also adorned the pair’s bed with gold and black balloons as well as a happy birthday display.
Five weeks later, the loved-up couple announced they’d moved in together into a brand new property.
Angel documented the moving in process on TikTok which consisted mainly of packing and unpacking boxes, but the smiles on their faces never wavered.
The short clip revealed the pair’s modern kitchen with a parquet floor and their neat back garden.
One fan commented: “My winners I’m so happy for the both of you.”
Another said: “U both seem the most genuine guys that were in there and came out on top happy for you both well done.”
A third wrote: “awww I’m soo happy for you I wished u was in from the beginning u would have won u was always my favourite couple.”
Ty and Angel aren’t the only couple still going strong from their series, as Toni Laites and Cach Mercer, Shakira Khan and Harry Cooksley and Conor Phillips and Megan Forte Clarke are still together.
However, Dejon Campbell and Meg Moore announced just this week that they’ve decided to call time on their relationship.
