OAPs Wendy and Larry like their Christmas Day to go with an extra bang.
Lying on their sun loungers in the buff as their fellow guests enjoy nude swims and group romps wearing only their Santa hats, the couple tell The Sun why they are spending the festive season at the world’s most famous sex hotel.
A 75-year-old divorce lawyer, Wendy says there’s simply nowhere quite like the adults-only Hedonism II resort in Negril, Jamaica, at Christmas.
Clothing is optional in the Caribbean sunshine spot, which boasts sandy beaches, a nude hot tub and an infamous playroom where everything goes.
“It’s sexual every day,” says Wendy, who is enjoying a month-long kinky vacation with 77-year-old Larry over the festive period.
She adds: “All day long there’s something, even the outfits – you can be a sexy Santa or an elf, but my favourite night is Pirate Night.”
While the law firm boss likes to get hands on, retired engineer Larry prefers to watch – and one year he nailed his other half’s Christmas present by arranging an orgy for her with a quintet of hot Italians.
Wendy says: “It was one of those late afternoons when I’d gone back to rest before dinner, and he came back with five Italian men.
“I was actually quite tired. I had been taking a nap, but he made that effort, so I fooled around with them.
“To this day, if I say: ‘you never get me anything’ he always says: ‘what about the five Italian guys?’”
“Larry talks to everybody,” she adds with a chuckle as she remembers her impromptu orgy.
“I’m sure he was just talking to them and said: ‘Hey, my girlfriend Wendy’s back in the room, let’s go’.”
The couple, who have been together 35 years, first went to Hedonism II a year after they met, after looking for somewhere they could “be naked” and found a great deal more besides.
Having returned 60 times to the holiday hotspot, which offers a sex swing on the beach, sensual theme nights and BDSM fun, it’s safe to say they’re big fans of the resort.
“We met people like us who had been going there forever, and we thought it was crazy,” says Wendy of her first visit to the adult playground.
“But the next year, there we were.
“I remember our second time like it was yesterday,
“They opened the cab door, and they said ‘Welcome home’, then I cried.
“That was it, I was hooked.”
In-room perks
Wendy’s favourite game at the resort is ‘find your mate’, which involves being blindfolded and working out which man your partner is from a line-up by getting hands-on.
She explains: “There’s a big hot tub at the other end of the beach, then there are the games they play at the nude pool: the car wash and ‘find your mate’.
“Early on, we would have sex outside,” adds the lawyer, of her early trips to the resort with Larry.
“We did it in the water, in the sea. We’ve done that over the years.”
There is no pressure to join in at the hotel, which has attracted millions to its idyllic location on Jamaica’s West Coast since opening its doors in 1981.
Guests are encouraged to be “free or as mild or as wild as you can be”, but many visitors seek as much pleasure as possible at the adult playground’s five bars, six pools and nude hot tub.
Oral sex lessons and Kama Sutra sessions are on offer as well as Hedonism’s infamous Playroom, which is open to adventurous and curious couples, single women and invited men looking to experience the “heights of pleasure”.
“Inside are people having sex, of course,” says Wendy casually.
“Two or three people at a time, that kind of thing.
“A single man can’t go in, but I’ve taken friends who wanted to go.”
Happy nude year
While Wendy and Larry are frequent guests at Hedonism II, Charles Versaggi is jokingly called the resort’s “worst offender” by its staff after clocking in more than 75 trips over the course of 47 years.
“I have stayed at Hedonism at Christmas for the last seven years,” the former IT worker tells The Sun, estimating three-quarters of his fellow guests like to get naked here.
“The kind of people who show up are teachers, people in academia and especially those without kids.
“It’s 85C and everybody is in shorts and T-shirts.
“There will be people in costumes, and I always wear red T-shirts, plus Santa Claus hats.
“Winston, the entertainment director, will host a sing-along in the piano bar so everyone puts on their Christmas hats, and we sing traditional carols around the piano.
“There is also a marching band who get permission to march down the nude beach – they are doing their best to stay focused on the music.”
Nowadays, the regular enjoys a more laid back time at Hedonism, with naked lounging on the beach, glorious weather and the all-inclusive buffet at the top of his list.
Previously, Charles – who lost his partner decades ago – had regular sexual partners at Hedonism but stopped short of group orgies.
The retiree, who arrives after Thanksgiving on November 27 and stays until Easter, says December 31 is always a highlight of his stay, with lots on offer.
“New Year’s Eve is a huge party,” he says.
“I tell people even a slow New Year’s Eve at Hedonism is better than any other New Year’s Eve you’re going to have anywhere else.
“There are probably 600 or more people, and it starts at around 7pm when they put out huge food spreads, seafood and roasts, other meats, and sushi.
“There are two or three acts on, and we do the countdown with fireworks going off.
“It’s a huge thing, and people are dancing until 6am.”
For those looking to get on Santa’s naughty list this year, there really is only one place to go – the world’s famous sex resort.
