The moment saw him compared to wrestling legend The Undertaker – who’s party tricks in the ring would include him ‘rising from the dead’.
He has since moved to clear up – from his version of events – what went on in that moment.
Speaking post-match he said: “I didn’t need the stretcher, the referee told me ‘if you don’t get on the stretcher, I’m giving you a yellow card.’
“I already had one so I didn’t think twice.”

Punters found the funny side to the incredible scenes with many sharing the footage online.
A journalist present at the match explained what he witnessed as he posted online: “He got up to lie down on the stretcher.
“Once off the field, he got back up like prime Undertaker off the stretcher and ran back to his spot.”
