Taskmaster star Greg Davies reveals he lost THREE stone on Ozempic after doctor’s warning

AMID the rise in people using weight loss injections, Taskmaster star Greg Davies has revealed his incredible success on one of the jabs.

Greg, 57, has told of how he lost three stone on Ozempic after getting given a warning by his doctor.

Speaking in a new interview, Greg explained how his doctors warned him that he was obese but didn’t look it because of his height.

Greg is 6ft8, which means he can carry more weight without it noticeable that he is overweight.

Speaking to The Times, Greg revealed: “[I] lost three stone on the old Ozempic, in about four months, before putting most of it back on”.

The paper also revealed that since his Ozempic fail, he is now flirting with doing some fasting.

TAKING ON THE TASK

Taskmaster’s Alex Horne casts doubt on Greg Davies’ future on Ch4 show

‘BUTCHERED IT!’

But other than worrying about his weight, he chooses not to worry about ageing.

He told the paper: “I think that’s probably good in my game, isn’t it?”

This comes as Greg prepares to revive his BBC sitcom The Cleaner.

It also comes as speculation swirls that he may return to the role of Mr Gilbert in The Inbetweeners should it make a comeback.

But Greg is perhaps best known for his work on Taskmaster these days.

The hit comedy series first aired on Dave before moving to Channel 4 in 2020.

Taskmaster has become one of Channel 4’s most successful shows and will now air two series a year until 2026.

Greg Davies as usual will host the show alongside his ever faithful assistant, Alex Horne.

Back in April of this year, Alex named who he wants to replace comedian Greg should he decide to step down from the show in the future.

In an interview on The Kickabout with Toby Tarrant (sitting in for Johnny Vaughan) on Radio X, Toby asked Alex if the show was getting bigger.

“Yeah, weirdly it is. It’s only on YouTube in America, but it seems to have picked up momentum somehow.

“And I like being a niche, culty thing, and it is that. You know, it’s a very small thing in a huge pond.

“But, I mean, I’ve always said if Greg goes – which he will eventually, because he’s not a healthy man – it’s going to be… I think Trump is the only possible successor.”
