Strictly pro speaks out on show future after fans feared she was leaving after ‘last dance’ snap

STRICTLY Come Dancing pro Jowita Przystal has spoken out amid fears she’s set to quit the dancing favourite.

The Polish dancer has been part of the Strictly team since 2021, becoming a firm fan favourite and winning the series as a competitor in 2022 with Hamza Yassin.

This year, she was partnered with Hollywood correspondent Ross King, and was knocked out in the second round of eliminations

As she returned to the dancefloor with Ross on Saturday night’s finale, she sparked fears she could be set to leave after posting a selfie which declared: “last dance partner on strictly floor x.”

However, after seeing fans worry, Jowita has now clarified what she meant, posting a group photo of all of this year’s professionals and shutting down worries.

“So grateful for being part of the best show on tv,” she wrote. “And just to clarify my last post, it was about my last dance with Ross, not me leaving the show.

Strictly 2025 star lined up for presenting role after impressing bosses

“Hopefully far from my last dance on that dance floor.”

The news will come as a relief to fans, who are already preparing for a shake-up to Strictly’s foundations following the exit of Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.

The presenting duo took their final bow during the live finale on Saturday night, where Karen Carney and Carlos Gu were announced the winners of the 2025 series

While the main focus remained on the competition, the long-running hosts were given sweet send offs with a message from Queen Camilla and emotional comments from the judges.

Their final episode, which was pre-recorded before the finale, will air on Christmas Day.

Following the winners’ announcement, Jowita penned a sweet message to everyone involved in the series, with shout outs to the winners, competitors and presenters.

She wrote: “Massive congratulations to our 2025 Strictly Champions!

“[Kaz] you were the first person I spoke to on Circle Day, and your kindness and positive energy were truly infectious. It was a privilege to watch you blossom every week on that dance floor. Thank you for all the unforgettable moments you gave us ♥️ You did it!

“[Carlos] Papacito 🥹♥️ I’m so proud of you! Seeing you so happy and true to yourself filled my heart. You are a special human and a true artist. And what you said yesterday was incredibly brave. I love you!”

“To all the finalists, @georgeclarkeey @alexis_warr @amb_d @nikita__kuzmin congratulations on an amazing night. You all left your hearts on that dance floor and should be so proud of yourselves. Well done ♥️,” she added.

“To @tessdaly and @claudiawinkle, thank you so much for all your support, love, and kindness. You truly are Strictly, and I will miss you so much 🥹♥️ Wishing you nothing but happiness in whatever comes next.”

She ended with a message to her dance partner for this year, Ross, by adding: “thank you for being such a great partner. I know our time on the show was short, but it was definitely sweet! Can’t wait to watch you in panto 😍”

“And last but not least, to my whole Strictly family! I’m so privileged to be part of the best show. Thank you all for your hard work and commitment. Together we create magic over those five months, and I’m so grateful to everyone involved”
