WOKE ITV bosses have slapped Vicky McClure’s hit bomb squad drama Trigger Point with an alert to viewers about its “high tension”.
Streaming site ITVX also warns that multiple episodes have “themes of peril” and “threats”.

Guidance also reads: “Graphic scenes of injury and death.
“Frequent strong language.”
And the series one finale, revolving around a bomb plot, has an alert for “terrorist danger”.
Lord Toby Young, of the Free Speech Union, said: “Talk about stating the bleedin’ obvious.
“It’s not called Trigger the Wonder Horse, is it?”
ITV was contacted for comment.
Its successful crime thriller follows lead actress McClure, 42, as a bomb-disposal expert.
All three seasons of the show were executive produced by Jed Mercurio, who also penned BBC cop thriller Line of Duty.
Trigger Point was one of ITV’s best streamed shows in 2022 and will return for a fourth season next year.
The show joins a list of British hits to be hit with barmy trigger alerts.
