Moore runner bumped into one at Fontwell last time and a repeat should be good enough to take this heat. The yard love a winner at this track and he is still handicapped to win another race or two. He was heavily-backed before being made a non-runner in the week and perhaps connections preferred the look of this race.
DIAMOND GEEZER (2.00 Lingfield, nb)
Has been consistent all season and has been found another good opening. This looks weaker than the Warwick race he ran in last time and he should put up another good performance. Sean Bowen is back in the saddle and the step up in trip looks a big plus.
BUCKSY DES EPEIRES (3.00 Lingfield, treble)
Can strike for the in-form Venetia Williams. He was bit rusty on his return but drops in class and won’t mind conditions. On his day he is more than capable of taking out a race like this.
KILBAKANTO (1.45 Fakenham, Lucky 15)
Connections have found a very weak race and the hood goes on. Around this sharper track that will help and he has shown enough promise so far.
