When is Andrew Tate fight? Date, start time, TV channel and live stream as controversial influencer makes Misfits debut

ANDREW TATE has become one of the world’s most notorious influencers after his rise to fame in the last decade.

The self-proclaimed misogynist, a former professional kickboxer, was born in the US before moving to Luton at a young age.

After retiring from pro sport, Tate first shot to prominence after a short spell on Big Brother in 2016 – he was removed from the house after rumours emerged that a video showed him purportedly hitting a woman with a belt.

Both he and the woman later said it was consensual.

He became popular for expressing vile misogynistic views on social media platforms, gaining an army of loyal followers, and for encouraging fans to ‘escape the Matrix’ – that of societal norms and financial restrictions.

Tate, also known by his aliases ‘Top G’ and ‘Cobra’, promotes a lifestyle of extreme toxic masculinity and misogyiny, while also showing off wealth and urging self-discipline to be successful.

In the past he has been banned from using several social media companies, including YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.

Twitter (now X) also banned him in 2017 but his account was reinstated in 2022 after Elon Musk purchased the platform.

Since 2022 Andrew and his brother Tristan have also been the subject of significant legal proceedings in Romania and the UK.

In Romania, they have faced charges of human trafficking and rape, amid claims young women were tricked into believing they were in romantic relationships and then forced to make pornographic content.

In a separate case in Romania, they are also alleged to have trafficked minors and are also charged with sexual intercourse with a minor and money laundering.

Romanian authorities have seized $4million (£2.98m) of assets from the Tate brothers and they remain under a travel restriction.

However, the case has currently been returned to prosecutors to fix certain legal flaws, specifically relating to the alleged rape of a minor, which the Tate brothers vehemently deny.

In the UK, one case against the Tate brothers has now been closed, relating to allegations of sexual assault and rape from 2013-15. The CPS decided against bringing criminal charges.

However, multiple charges remain open against the two brothers, including allegations of rape, human trafficking and tax evasion.

None of these charges will be heard until the cases in Romania are complete and the brothers can be extradited to the UK.

Andrew and Tristan Tate fully deny all charges against them.
