JAKE PAUL and Anthony Joshua will finally get their hands on each other in TONIGHT’S mega-money fight – but they’ll be dancing on a canvas full of blood.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul is looking to pull off one of the biggest upsets in sporting history as he aims to finally prove to the world that he can compete with boxing‘s elite.
While two-time world champion AJ, has said he will not hold back and is out to stop the Most Valuable Promotions owner.
But fans have spotted that the canvas has blood splattered all over it already.
And SunSport can reveal why this is.
Why is there blood on the canvas for Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua?
Cherneka Johnson overcame Amanda Galle to remain undisputed champion of the bantamweight division in the prelims – and she did it with a huge gash above her eye.
It happened in the first round of the fight due to a nasty clash of heads between the two boxers.
The challenger Amanda Galle was also covered in blood due to the incident.
It is Johnson’s first title defense since she earned undisputed status in July.
Despite being heavily favored going in, little was easy for the champ. Galle (12-1-1, 1 KO) went for the upset via constant pressure, no matter the collateral damage.
Both fighters threw more than 500 punches over the course of 10 two-minute rounds, with Johnson (19-2, 8 KOs) out-landing Galle 135-124.
