A WOMAN has hit back at trolls after begging strangers to help fund her brother’s Christmas.
Layla, from the US, took to social media pleading for help to give her younger brother the Christmas he deserves.

In the video, her little brother could be seen watching the TV in her front room before turning to smile at the camera.
And Layla revealed that her little brother had been let down for Christmas.
She said: “Well, he WAS supposed to have an angel tree Christmas year but the lady who picked him ghosted us.”
Layla revealed that a stranger had selected her brother to buy him gifts, but failed to come through.

Now, the older sister was panicking that her brother would end up with nothing, so she took to social media to ask strangers to help.
Layla set up an Amazon wishlist filled with the things he wanted, such as a scooter, Lego sets, and Minecraft toys.
She revealed that she had recently moved across the country so was currently unemployed, hence asking for help.
And help she got.
Layla’s Amazon wishlist for her brother sold out within days as kind strangers helped give him a Christmas to remember.
But it seemed not everyone was happy with the sister’s plea.
One person wrote: “That’s an awful lot of stuff to ask for!”
Another commented: “There’s 114 items on your Amazon wish list!!! Something seems off!!! Are you reselling gifts?”
“Yall please take a second to read before making such big accusations. This video blew up more than expected and now we’re able to help lots of people with Christmas this year,” Layla replied.
“Big TV? You can buy his gifts yourself!” penned a third.
The clip has gone viral with over 10 million views on her TikTok account @megashlort2.

Responding to the trolls, Layla said: “Since some people want to be rude over a child’s Christmas and TRY calling me out for things that just simply aren’t true, I thought I’d explain.
“This is my BROTHER. The things you see in my other videos are all free samples that I review on TikTok to try and make some extra money.
“I made this list because there are things he asked for that are near impossible for us to get. I was NOT expecting this many views or items to be purchased at all.
“I am extremely grateful and if you don’t have anything nice to say please just scroll away.“
Meanwhile, many were glad the family had a Christmas to look forward to, a fourth said: “Went to go buy something for him to see everyone already did, Merry Christmas lil man I hope it’s the best one.”
“I was going to buy something off the list but I saw it was all purchased already. Glad people could help!” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “THIS IS SO PRECIOUS I was gonna get him something but EVERYTHING HE WANTED WAS bought, omgg that’s actually amazing,”
