That ‘People’s Elbow’ move was born when WWE superstar The Rock came off the ropes and dropped an elbow into his opponent’s chest.
Linda McMahon is big-time wrestling royalty, and she is still using those off-the-ropes moves as Trump’s unyielding, no-nonsense Secretary of Education. A department she took over where the biggest part of her job description is making it go permanently away.
Education Secretary Linda McMahon said President Trump is “dead serious” about wanting her to dismantle the department and put herself out of a job in the administration.
“When he asked me to serve as the secretary of Education I knew exactly what his mandate was, which is to close the Department of Education,” McMahon said during a Thursday interview on WABC 770 AM’s “Cats & Cosby.”
McMahon nodded to Trump’s comment at the White House last month when he noted he had told her, “I hope you do a great job and put yourself out of a job.”
“He has joked, but he’s dead serious about the fact that he wants me to fire myself,” McMahon said during the interview on the radio program hosted by John Catsimatidis and Rita Cosby.
She’s cool with that.
While trimming the fat and deligating out business before turning the lights off permanently – what she calls her ‘final mission’ – Secretary McMahon is also straightening out affairs and the record books to do so in the best and most efficient form possible. Tie up all the loose ends.
In the process, hasn’t the secretary come across some interesting information about the current fraud capital of the United States while perusing Minnesota’s student loan program?
I know you’ll be shocked and stunned to hear this, and your ears are probably half-dead from associating millions and billions of dollars with Minnesota scams, but alas, it’s happened again. They’ve found more – in the education sector this time.
So much money, so little time.
It’s the first I’ve heard of ‘ghost students,’ but there we have it.
…At the beginning of 2025, McMahon’s department learned that “fraudulent college applicants, especially concentrated in Minnesota, were gaming the federal postsecondary education system to collect money that was intended for young Americans to help them afford college,” she said.
“We call these fraudsters ‘ghost students’ because they were not ID-verified and often did not live in the United States, or they simply did not exist,” McMahon said.
In Minnesota, 1,834 ghost students received $12.5 million in taxpayer-funded grants and loans. Yet they never attended college at all, she said. In response, her department added fraud-control measures, such as mandatory identity verification for some applicants, blocking more than $1 billion in attempted financial aid theft, she said.
Dang.
McMahon wants answers and accountability, and she’s after Walz’s job, calling on him to resign after calling him out for being a complete failure.
Walz might talk like a bad butt, but he’ll collapse if she comes after him.
…“Given your dereliction of the office entrusted to you by Minnesotans, I implore you to resign and make way for more capable leadership,” she said in the letter dated Dec. 15, accusing Walz of doing “absolutely nothing” to halt fraud.
Multiple federal investigations are targeting massive, multifaceted fraud schemes. Fraudsters are believed to have bilked billions of taxpayer dollars from government programs designed to help the needy, federal prosecutors have said.
…She accused Walz of failing to act to stop criminal schemes that her colleagues in other departments have uncovered. “Scammers have gotten rich off federal housing, education, food stamp, and small business programs, even defrauding assistance for elder care and autistic children,” McMahon wrote.
…“Shame on you, Governor Walz, for allowing this to happen—and for benefiting from it. Stop defrauding American taxpayers. No politician is above the law, and my department, alongside every other agency under the leadership of President Trump, will continue to ensure that you will not be able to dodge accountability for your actions,” McMahon wrote.

How about if Walz simply had the decency not to run for that third term? Naturally, decency and Walz aren’t acquainted at all, but it’s a thought.
The stumbling fumblebum is a fraud magnet who has enriched the criminals he’s protected in his state to legendary proportions.
Walz should be removed from office.

…Education Secretary Linda McMahon calls on #Minnesota Governor #TimWalz to resign over massive fraud scandal in scathing letter: ‘Shame on you’ – “You have been Minnesota’s Governor since 2019,” McMahon wrote to Walz in a letter. “During that time, your careless lack of oversight and abuse of the welfare system has attracted fraudsters from around the world, especially from Somalia, to establish a beachhead of criminality in our country. You have turned Minnesota into a fraudulent hub of money laundering activity. Given your dereliction of the office entrusted to you by Minnesotans, I implore you to resign and make way for more capable leadership.”
For some obscure reason, people just aren’t buying Walz’s protestations of ‘Somalis are a vibrant community,’ ‘I din know nuthin’, but it won’t happen again,’ and ‘we’ve instituted changes, trust me!‘
Folks can be so dang cynical…
Translated into Somali, that’s “Bakhaylku wuu ila joogsanayaa.”
