Olivia Attwood opened up about the heartbreak of leaving her marital home on Wednesday’s episode of Loose Women.
It comes after the 34-year-old broke down in tears on Tuesday as she moved out of her marital home, admitting that she was ‘not ready to say goodbye’.
Olivia appeared on the latest episode of the ITV show alongside Kaye Adams, 62, Nadia Sawalha, 61, and Mariella Frostup, 63, to chat about the latest newsworthy topics.
Kaye pointed out: ‘You posted and you admitted it yourself, it was a rare show of emotion when you were moving house. So take us through it…’
Olivia, who shot to fame on Love Island in 2017 and is married to Bradley Dack, 31, replied: ‘Those of you who know, we had our family home in Manchester, Brad was playing football up there, we lived there.
‘For the last year, we basically haven’t. He’s been playing football in South London, I’m here all the time. It just doesn’t make any sense.

Kaye Adams (pictured) pointed out: ‘You posted and you admitted it yourself, it was a rare show of emotion when you were moving house. So take us through it…’
‘I found it really hard saying goodbye, I’m not that sentimental, I’m not that emotional.
‘And in my friendship group, we have this ongoing joke where they liken me to Cameron Diaz from The Holiday because she can’t cry.’
She continued: ‘We were talking about it earlier, my twenties was an emotional rollercoaster, I was up, I was down, I was sideways. I cried over so many stupid things.
‘I went through a period of my life which was quite hard, I kind of just put the plug in, and I haven’t taken it out since.
‘Anyway, I kind of got caught off guard with emotion when I was saying goodbye to things in the house.’
Kaye asked: ‘What was it about that, then?’
Olivia said: ‘I think a lot of people struggle with change. I like the idea of it, then when I was actually feeling the reality that this is no longer home, it felt very sad.
‘When you move into a house, again, this is an incredibly privileged thing to be able to get upset about… something for a lot of people, it’s like their dream to have a home.

‘It’s like when you move into a new home, you’re thinking about the possibilities of what might happen in this home.
‘Are we going to start a family? Are we going to live here forever?
‘Then when that chapter ends, it makes sense. It’s the right thing to do… it’s just quite difficult. You’re metaphorically and physically shutting a door on one period of your life.’
Olivia explained: ‘I like to plan. I don’t like unpredictability in my life. I like to know, and feel like I know what’s happening next.
‘I know it’s the right decision, seeing all your things boxed up, I’ll be honest with you, I was a bit hungover, the combination just got me.’
The Love Island star and her footballer husband Bradley are relocating to London and have sold their £1million Cheshire mansion.
They moved to Cheshire when Bradley signed with Blackburn Rovers, but after his departure from the club, and subsequent move to Gillingham FC, he and Olivia have decided to relocate back to London full time.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday morning, Olivia shared an emotional video of packing up the home and eventually leaving as she looked towards the ‘next chapter’.
Olivia was seen crying as she prepared to move out of the sprawling home and reminisced on spending the ‘happiest, most peaceful times’ there.
Elsewhere in the clip Olivia and Bradley were seen cosying up together as they said goodbye to the Cheshire home.

Captions over the clip read: ‘Pro tip: Don’t do a house move hungover. Saying goodbye to the house I’ll never call home again.
‘I spent the happiest, most peaceful times in my adult life in this house… or maybe my whole life. I don’t think I would ever be ready to say goodbye – but things don’t always play out the way you thought they might. Next chapter pending.’
Olivia and Bradley had been splitting their time between their London apartment and Cheshire home for over a year, which wasn’t easy for either of them.
Bradley’s commitment to Gillingham means he has an intense training schedule and a packed fixture list, with games up and down the country, as well as on home soil in Kent.
Olivia said of the move in September: ‘The house is going to go on the market very soon. Essentially, I had this apartment in London that I was just using as a base for filming. And that’s what it was meant to be, but now we’re living here.’
She told The Sun: ‘That’s our family home in Cheshire, but we’re not in it. So, we’ve been umming and ahh-ing, because we’re both kind of emotionally holding onto that house. We love it so much. It’s just that Cheshire doesn’t work for us anymore because we’re not there.’
Speaking to Closer on Tuesday, Olivia revealed plans for her Christmas reset with Brad at a hotel with their dogs after a difficult year – but he still might have to leave her on the day.
‘It’s just the four of us, which I’m actually really excited about as this year’s been so hectic,’ she said. ‘It’ll be nice to have a bit of time just me and him.’
But the pair might still be separated, with Olivia adding: ‘He has to play on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, and he might have to go on Christmas Day.’

Earlier this month Olivia poked fun at rumours surrounding her marriage.
Taking to Instagram, she shared a skit paying tribute to the viral 2009 Gossip Girl episode, in which Jason Derulo’s Watcha Say plays while secrets are unearthed about characters, who all leave the table one at a time.
In Olivia’s take on the scene, she shared videos of her family members getting up from the dinner table with hilarious captions written over.
When the camera turned to Bradley, the writing read: ‘Are you and Olivia getting a divorce?’ while the footballer was seen storming away.
While the couple are happy to joke about the rumours, Olivia recently confessed: ‘There are ups and downs, there are things on his side which haven’t been great, there’s a mix of things. I have f***ed up and done stuff, Brad has f***ed up.’
Olivia’s hilarious Instagram video showed her sitting at the table alongside the caption: ‘Are you going to take it easy on the wine? This isn’t Freedom Bar you know’, in a nod to late-night Soho hotspot Freedom.
Her father Kai was seen leaving the table under the words: ‘I’m filming you for my Tiktok’, while her booze-swilling mum Jennifer’s caption read: ‘Errrm you know that’s prosecco not champagne?’ and sister Georgia’s read: ‘Did you buy ANOTHER horse?’
Fans lauded Olivia’s candid attitude to the divorce rumours, with fans writing: ‘This shut the divorce rumours downnnnn… we love a self aware unit.’
Last month, Olivia admitted to her fans that a lot has changed in her relationship with Bradley, as she insisted ‘marriage is hard’.
During an Instagram Q&A, she responded to one fan asking her where Brad was, after a distinct lack of his presence on her socials.
She replied: ‘He’s alive I swear. Ten years of us. A lot has changed. Marriage is frikinnn hard (no one wants to say that part out loud) and I’m just not a faker.
‘I’m not posting pictures if they don’t reflect our reality. We are doing our thing and if there are any more updates you will be the first to know.’
