AMIR KHAN is ready to bring Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder over to Nigeria to finally fight.
The retired British boxing great promotes a December 21 bill in Lagos – headlined by Lawrence Okolie and Ebenezer Tetteh.
Joshua – whose parents were born in Nigeria – has vowed to fight in Africa before his career is over and Khan wants to help him achieve the dream.
Khan, 39, told SunSport: “I mean look, we opened the door to boxing in Africa. Amir Khan promotions did and now we’re doing another show December 21st.
“Lawence Okolie came to the first one that we did in summer, and he said, ‘Look, I wanna fight over here, so I made it happen straight away.
“I think if Deontay wants to fight there, we’ll have a little sit down with him. We can make a fight happen for him quite easily.
“If he wanted to fight Anthony Joshua in Africa, it’d be massive. What a fight that would be. I could do that in Lagos.
“Both fighters are Nigerian. I could do that in Lagos. I could do that at the the biggest stadium there.
“We’ll have the president there. We’ll have everyone there. It’d be one of the biggest shows.”
Wilder, 39, is yet to return since his comeback win in June against little-known American Tyrrell Herndon, 38.
Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua – all the info
A true Christmas miracle!
The world will stand still THIS FRIDAY as the face of British boxing, Anthony Joshua, is all set to go up against social media sensation Jake Paul.
AJ steps in on a month’s notice after Paul’s ‘David vs Goliath’ Gervonta Davis clash was axed due to Tank’s civil suit case.
And Joshua will be desperate not to suffer the same fate as legends Mike Tyson and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, who both lost to YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul.
Particularly as a handsome figure was negotiated to get this Judgement Day deal over the line due to AJ’s DAZN contract.

Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua: All the information you need.
Joshua, 36, meanwhile is coming off a devastating September 2024 knockout loss to Daniel Dubois, 28.
AJ is back on Friday in Miami for his shock Netflix showdown against 28-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.
It is a pro-sanctioned heavyweight bout, over eight scheduled rounds and 10oz gloves to be worn – with AJ only restricted to a 245lb weigh-in limit.
Unthinkable victory for Paul would top Mike Tyson’s 1990 loss to 42-1 outsider James Buster Douglas – still considered the greatest upset in boxing history.
And Khan warned: “This is boxing but anything can happen in boxing.
“You’ve seen it happen in boxing where people have been hit with shots or hurt with shots and it’s very dangerous, the sport is.
“The sport’s no one’s friend and you make a mistake, you have to pay for it. If AJ makes a mistake here, it’s one he can never overcome.”
