However, the Chinese star will need to fend off the likes of world No2 Kyren Wilson, English ace Mark Selby and local hero John Higgins who all feature once again.
But Peifan misses out on the opportunity to potentially face snooker legend Ronnie O’Sullivan who has withdrawn due to medical reasons.
Plus, world No1 Judd Trump has confirmed that he will not feature too.
