MAFS groom Keye has hit out at his ex Davide’s “rebound” romance as he shared more snaps with his new man.
The much loved couple, broke up following final vows after one groom was found on the dating app Grindr whilst the pair were still together.
Davide Anica and Keye Luke were regarded as one of the experiment’s strongest couples and went from strength to strength during their time on the show.
But after MAFS UK ended, Davide dumped Keye for using Grindr whilst they were together in a shock scandal.
Davide has since soft launched a new boyfriend and Keye has now hit out at what he sees as a “rebound” romance.
Keye took to social media and wrote: “The person who moves on first after a break-up often initiated the split or emotionally disengaged earlier, using new partners or distractions to avoid pain.
“Which can mask deeper issues like avoidant attachment or low self-esteem rather than truly being over it.
“Though sometimes it indicates they found a better fit or were mentally checked out for a while.
“It doesn’t necessarily mean they cared less but their coping mechanism is different potentially involving avoidance or a rebound to cope with loneliness or hurt.”
Last month Keye admitted that he wanted to get back with Davide.
However, the latter firmly insisted that there was no chance for a reconciliation – saying “the trust is gone”.
Taking to Instagram, Davide uploaded a sweet post last week, which showed him enjoying a luxurious spa with a mysterious new man.
Clips showed him enjoying the facilities including a pool, sauna and hotel room with a dining table notably set for two.
The post included the song Everything is Romantic by Charlie XCX as it’s background with songs’ lyrics “fall in love again and again” overlaid as text on the video.
The clip eventually showed him hugging a mystery man in a hot tub as they embraced each other in the quick shot.
Alongside the post, Davide penned: “Honestly… this year has been a lot. From the highs to the heavy bits, I’ve been running on autopilot and pretending my battery wasn’t on 1%.
“So taking a moment to just breathe, recalibrate, and remind myself I’m allowed to slow down? Elite behaviour.
“It’s wild how much you don’t realise you’re carrying until your body finally feels safe enough to let go. I needed this space. I needed the stillness. I needed to remember that slowing down isn’t weakness it’s maintenance. It’s survival. It’s me choosing myself for once.”
He continued: “Grateful for the space, the calm, and the people who hold me down when life gets loud. Feeling lighter, clearer, and kinda brand-new.
“And um… if you clocked the end of the video… no you didn’t ( Shushing face emoji).”
Keye said earlier this month that he is done with talking about his ex, Davide and is “closing this chapter” of his life.
Keye announced his decision in a sharp statement while taking a swipe at his ex – after Davide spilled everything about their breakup in an exclusive interview with The Sun.
Despite just last month saying he wanted to get back with Davide, Keye took to TikTok to say he was done with talking about their relationship.
He posted a photo of him from behind walking into a sauna wearing nothing but a towel, and added Billie Eilish’s breakup anthem, Happier Than Ever, and Keye wrote “turning my back on this chapter.”
The lyrics that played over the photo included, “I don’t relate to you,” and “I don’t talk s**t about you on the internet.”
