ANGRY Ginge has pulled out of a Twitch livestream to recuperate from his time on I’m A Celebrity.
The 24-year-old online star was crowned King Of The Jungle last weekend after spending three weeks in the Australian jungle for the ITV series.
Since arriving back in the UK, he has been keeping busy with a string of obligations, guest appearances, charity events and livestreams.
However, it seems his intense schedule has finally caught up with him, and he’s apologised to fans as he explained he needs to take a day to recuperate.
“Next stream will be tomorrow everyone,” he shared on his Instagram Stories. “Still just getting back to normality.”
“Did wanna go live today but I’m f**ked,” he added. “see you all tomorrow.”
On Saturday, Ginge – real name Morgan Burtwhistle – was given a hero’s welcome as he returned to football coaching.
The star coaches Winton Wanderers Under 18s team in Manchester, nicknamed Winton Yanited.
Speaking to the BBC at the game he said he “never wanted to forget where he came from”.
Ginge beat Tom Read Wilson and EastEnders actress Shona McGarty in last Sunday’s show in order to be crowned King of the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
Ginge is thought to have banked around £100K for his appearance on the show, and likely has plenty more opportunities in the pipeline after the win.
An emotional and elated Ginge said as he won: “I don’t think I can swear, but I feel amazing.
“Honestly, a dream come true. I didn’t think I could go all this way never mind win. Thank you to everyone who voted.”
During a livestream on Twitch on Friday, the star beat his own personal record as 62,000 people tuned into hear him talk about his time on I’m a Celeb.
He was joined by his co-star Lisa Riley, who appeared in his streaming room as he helped her navigate how the streaming service worked.
To celebrate the moment, she brought in fish and chips for him – something they both said they had missed while they were in the jungle.
They later called Ginge’s nan before reacting to some clips from their time on the show, having not had a chance before then to watch it, before Lisa made Ginge confess he had a crush on one of their fellow campmates.
Cornering him about his feelings for Vogue Williams, she told him: “I think you fancied her a little bit”
He said: “I wouldn’t say I fancied her but I thought she was beautiful yeah.”
Lisa then joked that he would kiss her to which he replied: “No because she’s got a husband.”
