Afghan migrant rapist was living cushy taxpayer-funded life of daily takeaways and designer clothes before horror attack

A TEENAGE migrant who raped a schoolgirl was living a taxpayer-funded life of drugs and takeaways, neighbours told The Sun on Sunday.

Afghans Jan Jahanzeb and Israr Niazal, both 17, were caged last week for the park attack on the 15-year-old.

Neighbours of the semi-detached where Jahanzeb was housed said unaccompanied youngsters there jumped over fences to sneak out at night.

One neighbour said: “A few would smoke weed and throw butts into my garden.

“They’d come and go at all hours — getting food deliveries and other deliveries which look a bit dodgier late at night.”

The rapists posed for selfies in £100 Nike trainers and Jahanzeb showed off his PSG footie shirt on TikTok.

He got ten years, eight months, and Niazal got nine years and ten months for the rape in Leamington Spa, Warwicks.

Earlier in the week, The Sun revealed Jan Jahanzeb and Israr Niazal had access to barista training and hairdressing workshops, plus arts and craft sessions, film nights and so-called enrichment days from behind bars.

Now, both are being held on a comfortable unit at a youth jail, where they are allowed regular visits and phone calls, get hours of communal time where they can play Xbox games and table tennis and have £20 a week of taxpayers’ money to spend on treats in the prison shop.

They are in single cells with their own showers and phones and have a desk and laptop, plus TV and DVD player.

They get to use the gym at least five times per week.

Inmates at Werrington Young Offender Institution, Staffs, are offered 30 hours of education a week, plus practical courses such as painting and decorating.
