RICKY EVANS brought the festive spirit to Ally Pally during his festive-themed walk-on at the World Darts Championship.
The fan favourite launched his latest campaign by beating Man Lok Leung 3-0 on Friday night.
Evans had the full support of the crowd thanks to his charismatic entrance to Shakin’ Stevens’ classic festive hit Merry Christmas Everyone.
Rapid Ricky wore a shirt with Santa’s face on it, while there were also snowflakes printed onto his trousers.
His bold outfit was completed with Christmas tree glasses – which he launched into the crowd after getting up on stage.
Fans loved it, with one joking: “Ricky Evans is the Micheal Buble of darts.”
While a second gushed: “The holiday season doesn’t start until Ricky Evans does his Ally Pally walk on.”
A third swooned: “The Ricky Evans walk on has happened. Christmas is here!”
And another added: “Christmas doesn’t start till rapid Ricky Evans has walked out in Christmas glasses.”
Despite being synonymous with the festive season, Evans has previously revealed that he does not like Christmas.

The 35-year-old told the PDC website: “Ally Pally is always special. I love this tournament, which is weird for a bloke who hates Christmas!
“I don’t mind the party vibes and all that, but I don’t like receiving presents, watching the King’s Speech or the EastEnders specials.

“I’m a right Scrooge. I only like Christmas now if I’m still in the World Championship!”
Evans will so far be delighted with the festive season then, after winning his round round clash 3-0.
The charismatic star followed up his triumph with a chaotic on stage interview, which saw him rip his trousers and then go on a rant about gravy.
Evans jokingly covered up the tear in his bottoms before turning to the crowd and bending over to show off the split.
He then ranted: “Gravy is the devil, if you go to a chicken shop you don’t order gravy.”
Next up, world No43 Evans will face either James Wade or Japan’s Ryusei Azemoto in round two.
