But before he is put to death, the 52-year-old will gorge on a gluttonous buffet.

Humphreys requested a huge last meal of barbecue beef brisket, pork ribs, a bacon double cheeseburger, and french fries, according to according to the Georgia Department of Corrections.

But it doesn’t stop there. The killer also ordered coleslaw, cornbread, buffalo wings, a meat lover’s pan pizza and vanilla ice cream.

FINAL BREATH

Humphreys will wash down his final meal with two lemon-lime sodas at Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson, near Atlanta.

He was sentenced to death for killing Cynthia Williams, 33, and Lori Brown, 21, in 2003.

His victims were real estate workers cornered by the killer at their company’s sales office.

Humphreys made the two women strip naked and give him their PIN numbers, then shot both of them in the head.

The 52-year-old had tied William‘s underwear around her neck so tightly that when her body was found, it “bore a prominent ligature mark”.

After shooting the two women, Humphreys drained thousands of dollars from their bank accounts.

The killer was eventually caught after a high-speed chase through Wisconsin.

Humphreys said when he was captured that he had no memory of killing the real estate workers, but said he had fled because he knew he “did it”.

He said: “I know it just as well as I know my own name.”

The murderer’s legal team attempted to push back the execution, but had their request denied on December 10.

His execution is the first to take place in Georgia this year, and marks the 55th lethal injection in the state’s history.

The Department of Corrections said that 32 men and one woman are still on death row in the state.
