A SAVVY woman has revealed how she transformed her hallway using bargain buys from B&M and TikTok Shop.
Not only does Georgie’s home now look fabulous, but her hack even insulates the room in colder months too.

Posting on social media, a homeowner and bride-to-be who is currently saving money for her 2026 wedding, explained how a simple but effective trick enabled her to panel her hallway without breaking the bank.
So if you often gawp at panelled hallways but your purse is feeling tighter than ever before, you’ve come to the right place and won’t want to miss this.
Alongside a video showing off her panelling hack, Georgie, a DIY enthusiast from the UK, penned: “POV: You saw one video of someone using insulation tape to panel and decided you can do the whole stairs and landing.”
Following this, she added: “The panelling hack I needed to see when I’m wedding saving – cost just under £40.”
The bargain hunter confirmed that rather than splashing the cash and paying a professional to panel her hallway, she ordered two dado rails from TikTok Shop, which were “around £4 a roll.”
As well as this, she bought peel and stick draught excluder tape from B&M for £4, which is said to help homes retain heat in winter.
Georgie acknowledged that the affordable dado rail was “flexible and came with really sticky double sided tape to fix it to the wall.”
Explaining how she panelled her home, she revealed: “I stuck the double sided tape for the dado rail on the wall first, then stuck the foam rail to it.”
The DIY fan recognised that she “went 80cm up from the skirting” but stressed that this will “be different for everyone.”
Following this, the content creator added: “I did all the box measuring with this block of wood to keep consistency in gaps between the rail, the skirting and between the boxes.”
And to finish off the hallway, Georgie highlighted that she painted the panelling using the B&Q GoodHome paint in the shade Cancun.
