THE BRIT Awards has confirmed it’s 2026 host as the awards bash heads up to Manchester for the first time ever.

The beloved comedian is coming back for a sixth time as frontman for the ceremony, being held at Manchester’s Co-op Live February 28.

Jack first stepped up to host back in 2018 and is returning again after Maya Jama and Roman Kemp took the reins in 2024.

In a video posted across the BRITs social media, the awards show revealed the announcement.

The clip shows the London-born comedian in front of a green screen as he ‘walks’ through various scenes which pay homage to Manchester.

This included the Industrial Revolution, the Curry Mile, Coronation Street and the classic Barm cake – each a true staple of Mancunian heritage.

Speaking about hosting, Jack said: “I am so excited to be coming back for this very special BRIT Awards in Manchester, a place that is so important to me.

“The city I started my comedy career in, it feels like a real full circle moment returning to host this historic night at the Co-op Live, a venue that is only a stone’s throw away from the comedy club I did my first 10 minute set in all those years ago.

“Hopefully I get a few more laughs than I did that night. I cannot wait.”

The awards bash is part of a new Brit shake-up and fans will be expecting a much different vibe from the ceremony this year.

The annual event has been previously slammed for being a little stale, with more influencers and reality stars packed into the show than ever at this year’s bash.

As part of a new strategy move, Manchester will become the home of the ceremony – with the city’s Co-Op Live hosting the awards in 2026 and 2027.

A new partnership means the iconic ceremony will be heading up North for the first time ever.

Since 2011, it has been held at The O2 Arena and was held at iconic London venues including Earls Court and the Royal Albert Hall prior to that.

Jack was most recently seen in Prime Video’s Malice as a creepy ‘manny’ looking after a rich family’s kids, and has starred in TV hits like Bad Education and Fresh Meat, alongside five hit stand up tours.

He became a dad for the first time in Sept 2023 with fiancee Roxy Horner.
