
TWO police officers and another man have been seriously injured in a traffic collision on a major A-road.
The horror smash happened on the A30 near Hayle, Cornwall, at around 8pm last night.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the smash, which involved a police vehicle and two cars.
Several people were treated at crash site the by the ambulance service.
The two cops and the man, who were all seriously injured, were rushed to hospital to receive treatment.
The incident has since been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
A Devon and Cornwall police spokesperson said: “A number of people were treated by ambulance services and three men, including two police officers, were conveyed to hospital with serious injuries.
“Their families have been informed.”
