
A BODY has been found in the search for a missing man who vanished from his home three days ago.
Mark Parry, 45, was last seen on Wednesday afternoon at his home address in East Shilton, Leicestershire, police said.


Leicestershire Police had previously appealed for information on his whereabouts saying officers and his family were “extremely concerned for his welfare.
He was reported to have left home in the Westfield Avenue area with a holdall and a rucksack.
The force added he was last in contact with a relative on Thursday morning before the grim discovery at a local beauty spot nearly ten miles away.

Although formal identification is yet to take place, his family have been informed and are being supported by officers.
They are not treating his death as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the HM Coroner.
It comes after a woman’s body was pulled from a river amid the hunt for a missing 79-year-old woman today.
