The home side were 1-0 up against troubled Wednesday after Yuki Ohashi gave them the lead in the 33rd minute.

Wednesday have been in trouble all season long and sit rock-bottom with just one win from their 19 games.

They endured a points deduction after the club had gone into administration and sit -10 points at the foot of England’s second tier.

If a Championship match is called off due to severe weather conditions, the match is normally rearranged and Blackburn would lose their 1-0 lead.
