A HIGH-PROFILE Ducati dealership in London has closed it’s doors for the final time after more than two decades of trading.
Ducati Croydon has closed down, citing “very difficult conditions” in the industry, despite the team’s best efforts to remain open.

The site, run by In Moto Ltd and trading as Ducati Croydon, was founded in 1999 by Gaudenzio Ingignoli.
It operated as a family business for nearly 30 years, serving London and Surrey’s Ducati community, according to Visordown magazine.
Ducati, the world-renowned Italian brand famous for manufacturing premium motorcycles, will continue to trade in London.
Three stores within the M25 will remain open: Ducati London in Vauxhall, Ducati North London in Watford, and Pro Twins LTD in South Godstone.
The closure of the Croydon site is not expected to affect their sister businesses.
The Vauxhall site will continue to trade under the management of Cristian Ingignoli, the son of Ducati Croydon’s founder, Gaudenzio.
Loyal customers of the Croydon store took to Facebook to share their disappointment about the closure.
One commented on the store’s announcement post: “Really sad to see it go.
“I have a lot of memories tied to that place, like my first big bike and my wife’s first big bike.”
Another chimed in: “Gutted to hear you guys are closed, you will be missed.
“Wish we could have had one last meet up there, to give you guys the send off you deserve.”
The team announced the closure to their community at the end of November.
A statement from Ducati Croydon said: “It is with a very heavy heart that we share some important news.
“After twenty-six years of serving riders across South London and Surrey, In Moto Ltd / Ducati Croydon has closed its doors for the final time.
“The industry has faced very difficult conditions in recent times, and, despite every effort, we are unable to continue operating.
“To everyone who has supported us over the years, thank you.
“Your loyalty, trust, and friendship have meant everything to us.
“Thank you for 26 unforgettable years.”
