I’M A Celeb’s Unpacked presenter Kemi Rodgers bolted from her chair and was shaking in fear after a huge spider appeared on set.
The TV star screamed “no no no” when a producer walked over with an arachnid the size of his palm.
Kemi darted to the corner of the room and tried to hide behind a desk.
The spider took no notice, as she told co-host Joel Dommett: “Joel, I think I need to go” before slipping out the door.
Kemi began presenting I’m A Celeb: Unpacked alongside co-host Joel Dommett last year, and returned for another series last month.
The presenter also told The Sun last week that a lot of the chaos on the ITV set never makes it on air.
Kemi told us: “The only other thing that you guys wouldn’t see is sometimes we’re already on set just before meetings and there’s a live feed.
“I remember once everyone was cheering because there was a massive rat in front of one of the camp beds and it jumped in the air and did a spin, and everyone was like, ‘This is the best thing we’ve ever seen.’
She added: “That didn’t make it into the show, which is quite funny.”
Alongside hosting the nightly Unpacked show – which involves waking up in the middle of the Australian night to broadcast live to the UK – Kemi is also remotely hosting her show on Capital Radio.

Despite the long days, she says that everyone on set is in surprisingly high spirits, including Ant and Dec.
“I’d love to say someone’s grumpy, but no — everyone is so lovely and joyous,” admitted Kemi.
“You walk on and everyone’s chirpy, like it’s 10 a.m. on a Wednesday. Then you remember it’s actually two in the morning.”
She continues: “We’re all pretty good; you get synchronised to it – it just becomes your new routine.”
Howeverm Kemi snapped on Wednesday and said she was fuming Ruby Wax had been voted off the show.
Angry Ginge was also sat on top of a log in tears when Ruby was told she was going home.
Reacting to the scenes on Unpacked, Kemi said: “For the first time I’m fuming at the British public, I’m absolutely fuming.
” I don’t know what’s happened because for the last few days I’ve seen Aitch, Ginge, Ruby and Lisa being, like, the four vibe bringers of the camp.
“This camp is going to be a whole lot drier.”
