DREAM TEAM managers have until 11:30am on Saturday to confirm their transfers for Gameweek 14.
It’s the last European double Gameweek until the new year with a full allotment of Conference League, Europa League and Champions League fixtures to follow the usual Premier League bonanza.
As usual we’ve compiled some transfer recommendations outside of the obvious names such as your Haalands, your Sakas, your Munozs.
Lewis Hall (£3.3m)
Seemingly reinstated as Newcastle’s first-choice left-back, the 21-year-old is very affordable at £3.3m.
His price will surely rise once the deadline hits after his 17-point haul in Gameweek 13.
Hall provided a sumptuous cross for Malick Thiaw’s (£3.6m) second goal against Everton, one of two big chances created.
Notably, he earned three bonus points at Hill Dickinson Stadium and another three at home to Tottenham in midweek.
The ex-Chelsea defender’s ability to provide healthy returns without clean sheets or goals should not be underestimated.
Eddie Howe’s side will be hopeful of a clean sheet at home to Burnley this weekend before travelling to Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday night.
Nick Woltemade (£4.1m) is back in favour after his classy goal against the Toffees and an assist against Spurs — he also registered five tackles against Thomas Frank’s side, an unusually high tally for a striker.
Phil Foden (£5m)
This particular ship has already sailed to some extent as Manchester City’s homegrown hero is unlikely to repeat his Gameweek 13 heroics anytime soon.
Foden scored four goals across two dramatic outings against Leeds and Fulham for a mega haul of 39 points.
Recruiting him a week ago would have been ideal but it’s still a strong move at this juncture ahead of his double header against Sunderland and Real Madrid.
Foden is the third-top goalscorer in Dream Team and first among midfielders for both goals (8) and points (135).
Pep Guardiola’s team selections can be unpredictable but the decorated tactician has rarely gone without his No47 in recent weeks.
Foden’s ownership has skyrocketed over the past few days but even now just shy of 80% of gaffers are set to go without him this coming Gameweek.
Reece James (£4m)
A slightly risky punt as Chelsea’s captain continues to manage his workload after years of injury troubles.
But the fact James sat out the Blues’ defeat at Elland Road on Wednesday night probably means he’s good to go against Bournemouth and Atalanta this coming Gameweek.
The England international is categorised as a defender in Dream Team but has been deployed as a central midfielder lately, with impressive results.
James bossed the games against Barcelona and Arsenal and his new role has allowed him to become the joint-top assist provider in his position.
He’s not shy of a bonus point either.
Chelsea’s double header isn’t ultra favourable but it’s a good time to face the Cherries as they’ve slipped to 14th in the table having not won since late October.
Similarly, Atalanta are 12th in Serie A after a poor run but they have fared better in Europe with ten points from five outings.
Selecting James essentially allows Dream Team bosses to pick an extra midfielder while still qualifying for any clean sheet points on offer.

Enzo Fernandez (£4.7m) is a decent option too but it’s worth noting his price may decrease after mustering just seven points from two outings in Gameweek 13.
Gaffers should also keep a close eye on Cole Palmer’s (£5.5m) comeback as he’s a points magnet when fully fit and firing.
