RUBEN AMORIM admitted Manchester United defender Leny Yoro “thinks too much” after his early second-half substitution at Palace.
Yoro, 20, gifted Jean-Philippe Mateta a one-on-one with the game goalless before he clumsily felled his fellow Frenchman to concede a penalty.
Mateta converted and Yoro was substituted in the 54th minute, with his replacement Noussair Mazraoui ready to come on seconds before Joshua Zirkzee equalised.
Yoro was consoled by United matchwinner Mason Mount after the final whistle and Amorim has spoken to the centre back.
“It’s really important,” Amorim said of Mount’s gesture.
“I also spoke with him because he thinks too much, he makes a mistake in the game and then he struggles because he’s too young and he wants to do everything so well.
“He’s growing, with games and with setbacks, it’s not easy for him as a young guy.
“He cannot give that to the people the way he came to the bench, he understands that but he was really frustrated.
“On the good side it shows that he cares, he knows it wasn’t his best game but he did some things well and I showed him that also.
“He’s fit and ready for the next challenge.”

Amorim reiterated 18-year-old attacker Shea Lacey is ready to play for the first team.
Lacey was recently promoted to the matchday squad after injury to Matheus Cunha an unused substitute in United’s recent games against Palace and Everton.
Amorim outlined the specific work he has overseen with Lacey.
“First of all, trying to explain every day how to play,” Amorim added.
“Because if you are comfortable in the way you have no many doubts when you are playing. That will help the kids to play.
“Then is to work the physicality. To understand that when he’s training with us.
“Give him time with us. To understand that the speed of the pressure. The moment to have the ball. To pass the ball is completely different if you compare to under 21.
“So that is the only way that I know how to prepare a kid to play for a club. Especially for this club.
So we’ll have to go there to have the chance. I don’t know when. But he’s ready to play.”
