THIS is the cringe moment Meghan Markle makes fun of Harry’s spice tolerance before he brutally hits back.
The Christmas special of the Duchess of Sussex’s much derided cookery show ‘With Love, Meghan’ was released today.
Prince Harry made an appearance on the festive Netflix special that saw Top Chef star, Tom Collichio, visit the Sussexes.
The US chef was whipping up a salad to help Meghan, 44, with her mum Doria’s Christmas Eve gumbo recipe.
The Duchess explained that her husband wouldn’t like Tom’s famous salad as he hates the main ingredients.
“I’m so excited to eat this. You don’t cook things as regularly that your partner doesn’t like to eat,” she said.
“If I gave you the top things that my husband hates to eat.”
She then listed off beetroot, fennel, black olives and pickled vegetables – all ingredients in Tom’s salad.
“He hates all these flavours,” she added.
After appearing in the kitchen and getting a kiss from his wife, Harry says: “Hi guys, I smell the gumbo.”
But after learning what was in the chef’s salad, he said: “Oh wow, that’s like the anti-salad. You must have known I was coming!
“Me and the salad are having this sort of eye off.
“It’s amazing how there’s not many things in the world that I don’t like and they are all in one bowl.”
Meghan then tells Harry she’s used a spicier sausage to make the gumbo than he’d be used to.
She says: “We’ll get you a little towel because he’s gonna sweat.”
After Harry tastes the dish – which he says is one of his favourites – he hits back with “I’m not sure it’s as good as your mum’s”.
The festive special also saw Meghan reveal new details about her and Prince Harry’s two children, Archie and Lillibet.
As part of the show she creates a handmade advent calendar for her children.
While crafting the Christmas treat she talks about her two children, revealing new details about the young royals.
The show also sees Meghan host an all-girl pyjama party as well as trying to introduce the humble Christmas cracker to the American public.
Making crackers with restauranteur Will Guidara she describes discovering the British festival favourite after “living in the UK”.
