
AN E-BIKE rider has died and two pedestrians rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a horror crash.
Cops were called to Rochadale Road, in Greater Manchester, on Tuesday evening.
A male e-bike rider was sadly pronounced dead at the scene in Blackley.
Paramedics also rushed two pedestrians to hospital with serious injuries.
Rochdale Road remains cordoned off, with drivers warned of further closures on Whitemoss Road and Lionbrow Road.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Officers are dealing with a serious RTC on Rochdale Road in north Manchester between a e-bike rider and two pedestrians.
“The male e-bike rider has sadly been pronounced dead at the scene, and the two pedestrians have been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“While officers continue with their investigations, there will be significant road closures in place.
“Namely on Rochdale Road, Whitemoss Road and Lionbrow Road. Please avoid the area if you can and find an alternative route.”
