IT was the film of the summer, and quickly amassed millions of fans all over the world.
Kara’s daughter is one of them, so when she saw the KPop Demon Hunters advent calendar going viral, she knew she had to get one for her little girl.
However, when it came to the 1st December, her daughter opened the first window, and was more than a little disappointed by what was inside.
“Did anyone else get scammed this morning when opening their demon hunter advent calendar from TikTok?” Kara began a video on her TikTok page.
“Because we did – these were supposed to be figures of the little demon hunter characters.”
However, while she was expecting the 3D figures, she instead found a little 2D plastic shape that was “printed and scratched”.
Kara then opened up the advent calendar to see what else was inside, at which point she realised that while some of them contained other 2D plastic pieces, others were completely empty.
“They look like bauble things so maybe I can put some string on them and she can put them on her Christmas tree,” she mused.
“But I’m just gonna let her pull apart all this later when she comes home because she’s gonna be so gutted that they’ve all fallen out of their different places.
“And then she’ll open some days and she won’t have any!”
“Scammed,” she concluded.
“Anyone else?” she captioned her video.
And she quickly found in the comments section that she wasn’t the only one at all.
“Same, it’s terrible,” one wrote.
“We got that one too – it’s terrible, so it’s in the bin,” another added.
“Yep my daughter’s is like that,” a third said, calling it “so disappointing”.
“Mine were the exact same!” someone else said.
“I luckily checked the boxes before today and they were the same, all had moved around.

“I ended up putting mine in the bin, I bought two, exactly the same.”
“Luckily I opened this one before giving it to my girl and seen how rubbish it was,” another wrote.
“I ended up putting them on her mini Christmas tree in her bedroom.”
“Yes, was so disappointing – my son actually opened the whole calendar,” someone else said.
“I had to go and buy him a different one, f**k sake, I think I paid over £10 for it.”
