Queen Camilla borrowed an item King Charles‘ has kept in his wardrobe for 27 years for a dinner outing in London last week.
Camilla attended the Biennial RIFLES Awards Dinner at the City of London Guildhall on November 27, where she was joined by Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh.
She wore a regal red velvet Fiona Clare Aldridge gown for the dinner.
The Queen covered up from the cold in a jacket that holds special significance to her husband, King Charles.
The royal wore a robe, known as a daqlah, that was presented to Charles in 1998 during a visit to Saudi Arabia when he was the Prince of Wales.
The midnight blue daqlah features intricate contrasting silver embroidery all over.
The garment is by Saudi fashion designer, Yahya Al Bishri, who also notably designed a dress for the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
Camilla opted to wear Charles’ daqlah over her shoulders as she arrived for the dinner – but it’s not the first time she’s borrowed the robe for a special occasion.

Camilla last wore the jacket in May for a joint public appearance with Charles.
The royal was pictured in the traditional Saudi robe while sitting up in the stands at the Horse Guards Parade for a concert marking the 80th Anniversary of VE Day.
She pinned a Britannia brooch to the jacket for the occasion.
Before the VE Day Concert, Camilla previously wore the robe three years earlier.
Camilla first borrowed it in 2022 for the annual Reception for Members of the Diplomatic Corps hosted at Buckingham Palace.
The royal was seen wearing the robe in the car as she arrived for the event, pairing it with extravagant diamonds and sapphires.
Months earlier, Camilla wore the coat to accompany Charles onstage at the late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee concert in June 2022.
Speaking to Arab News, designer Yahya Al Bishri said he was ‘shocked’ to see the then-Duchess of Cornwall wearing his design.
‘It is just a great feeling to see the whole world is talking about my outfit,’ he told the outlet at the time.

He continued: ‘Actually, I was engaged with friends in a small gathering when my ex-wife called me and told me, ‘Are you watching the Platinum Party (at the Palace)?’ She told me that Camilla was wearing my daqlah.
‘As a Saudi fashion designer, I am so proud and happy that international media focused on my design, talked about the outfit and appreciated what the Duchess of Cornwall was wearing,’ the designer said.
Camilla opted to wear the dalqah buttoned up on stage. According to Al Bishri, it can traditionally be worn open or closed by men.
Camilla is believed to have first worn the jacket in 2008 when she was pictured wearing it to the Sunset Ceremony at RAF Cranwell.
Two years later she wore it again for the 2010 Windsor Castle Royal.
