DISGRACED Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has today officially been stripped of two titles by the King.
Charles has ordered his membership of the Order of the Garter – said to be the most chivalric order in the land – has been cancelled.
The King has also ordered Andy’s Knight of the Grand Cross of the Royal Victoria Order also be cancelled and annulled.
The official cull comes just weeks after the shamed royal was stripped of his Duke of York and Prince title and agreed to leave Royal Lodge.
But his eviction from Royal Lodge is likely to be delayed until February, because he is struggling to downsize.
The orders were announced in the London Gazette at midday after it was agreed and announced on October 30.
Andy had earlier agreed to give up his Order of the Garter membership.
They read: “THE KING has directed that the appointment of Andrew Albert Christian Edward MOUNTBATTEN-WINDSOR to be a Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter, dated 23 April 2006, shall be cancelled and annulled and that his name shall be erased from the Register of the said Order.
“THE KING has directed that the appointment of Andrew Albert Christian Edward MOUNTBATTEN-WINDSOR to be a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order, dated 19 February 2011, shall be cancelled and annulled and that his name shall be erased from the Register of the said Order.”
His coat of arms had already been removed from St George’s Chapel, Windsor.
The King’s decision means the disgraced former royal is only clinging on to one remaining title.
Andrew is still a vice-admiral in the Royal Navy, despite the government’s pledge to strip him of the honour at Charles’ request.
Secretary John Healey said the government would “work to remove” his last remaining title of vice-admiral.
The decision and power to remove the honorary vice-admiral title remains with the government and not the King.
Andrew served in the Royal Navy for 22 years until 2001 and fought in the Falklands as a helicopter pilot.
He was awarded the honorary rank of vice-admiral by the Navy in February 2015 for his 55th birthday.
Admiral Lord West, the former first sea lord and Chief of the Naval Staff, said: “It seems extraordinary that it is taking so long.
“I cannot see why it is so difficult to remove it. He has paid a penalty for his stupid behaviour and that is right.

In October, Andrew was stripped of his prince title and lost his home in a brutal yet swift decision by his older brother.
Charles, 76, brought down the axe by starting the formal process of removing the ‘the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew’.
The ex-duke was finally brought to his knees by the scandal engulfing paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and sex abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre.
In a shock statement, Buckingham Palace revealed after weeks of talks the King’s brother had finally given up life in his 31-room mansion Royal Lodge.
After enormous pressure going back years, the shamed royal is finally set to leave Royal Lodge.
He made formal notice that he wishes hand back his lease – which was meant to run until 2078.
The shamed royal will now move to the Sandringham estate while ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, 66, is said to be making her own housing arrangements.
But it is understood Andrew is set on having one final Christmas at Royal Lodge, where has lived since 2004.
The former duke last month decided not to join the Royal Family at the annual Christmas Day gathering.
He also stayed away last year when named in court documents that embroiled him in a China spy scandal.
His extended stay at Windsor follows weeks of speculation he would seek refuge abroad — particularly the Middle East.
Last month, Charles visited the King of Bahrain for tea at his £120million Cotswolds estate, The Sun can reveal.
But they are not believed to have discussed his brother.
Andrew has long had links to the Middle East state and the King’s son Crown Prince Salman.

THE King has finally done what many believe he should have done long ago — strip his brother of every title, honour, and privilege, and now his royal home.
Andrew is no longer a privileged royal. No longer His Royal Highness.
He is simply Andrew — a man without rank, without role, without refuge.
It is the final humiliation. One he could, and should, have accepted voluntarily years ago.
For too long, the Palace hesitated. For too long, Andrew clung to privilege, denying wrongdoing as public opinion turned against him.
His friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, his settlement with Virginia Giuffre, his disastrous BBC interview — each misjudgment deepened the rot. Now, the reckoning has come.
Charles has acted not out of cruelty, but necessity. Family ties matter, but the Crown must survive. The monarchy could no longer carry Andrew’s burden.
The symbolism is stark. Titles are the monarchy’s armour. Strip them away and the illusion of immunity vanishes. This is not only a personal fall — it is institutional self-preservation.
The King has drawn a hard line to protect the future of the Crown.
The Palace statement was brief but telling — sympathy for victims, silence for Andrew. Few words could wound more.
He has lost everything — his military honours, his public duties, now his home at Royal Lodge.
And alongside him, Sarah Ferguson has sunk to rock bottom too.
For all her flaws, she has remained steadfast, loyal, protective, and kind to a man the world turned away from.
Their relationship, once ridiculed, now looks less like folly and more like endurance. Two flawed souls, clinging to one another as the walls close in.
Still, some will ask if this is enough. Should Parliament act to make his demotion permanent? Should his security and royal income also go?
There are voices calling for harsher measures — full exile, total erasure.
But what more is there to take from a man, and a woman, who have already lost almost everything?
Andrew has reached the end of his royal life. His name, once bound to privilege, now to disgrace.
Sarah, ever resilient, stands beside him in the wreckage — proof that loyalty, however misplaced, can survive even public ruin.
The larger question is what the monarchy learns from this.
Accountability must replace entitlement.
Service, not status, must define those who wear the crown.
For Andrew and Sarah, this is rock bottom.
For the House of Windsor, it is a chance — perhaps the last — to rise above its own past.
He was a frequent visitor before he was engulfed in scandal and was given five-star treatment there three years ago.
There have been claims he would find exile there, as well as claims he has been offered use of a luxurious palace in Abu Dhabi.
But there are no plans for him to live abroad, it is understood.
In a bombshell statement, Buckingham Palace said: “His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew.
They added: “Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
“His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.
“Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation.
“These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.”
Andy has been under renewed scrutiny after sex abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre made a number of claims against him in her biography.
Ms Giuffre, who took her own life in April, has alleged she was trafficked by Epstein to have sex with Andrew on three occasions.
Despite insisting he had never met Virginia, the former duke paid millions to settle a civil sexual assault case with her in 2022.
Her memoir went on to make further unsettling allegations about his alleged conduct.
