I’m A Celebrity star Jack Osbourne opened up about his mobster grandfather Don Arden – who sent ‘hitmen’ after dad Ozzy – in the latest episode of I’m A Celebrity.
Don, a music manager and agent, was the father of Jack’s mum Sharon Osbourne and died in 2007.
In Friday night’s episode of the ITV show, Jack, 40, revealed he was 17 years old when meeting his grandfather for the first time.
He explained how Sharon and Don fell out after she took over managing Ozzy’s career in 1979 after he was fired from Black Sabbath, before they were married in 1982.
Outlining how his grandfather reacted, Jack said: ‘He sent hitmen after them, mobsters would show up with guns at gigs…’
He added: ‘She was his protégé, he taught her everything and he did all sorts of screwed up things.

Don, who died in 2007, was the father of Jack’s mum Sharon – but they didn’t meet until Jack was 17
‘Had my mum sign all these documents and everything was in her name so he would never get in trouble….they would firebomb other record companies.
‘That’s why my grandfather knew the Krays.’
Jack’s campmate Kelly Brook shared how she heard a rumour that Don used to dangle bands out the window unless they signed with him.
The media personality confirmed this was true, adding: ‘He pulled guns on people, everything.’
Jack also revealed how Sharon ultimately found out her dad was stealing money from bands.
He told the camp: ‘After she left and took management of my dad, they took them to court, they had to essentially pay him a million dollars to break the contract.’
Revealing why he didn’t know his granddad until his teens he said: ‘My mum actually told me he was dead…’
It comes as Jack revealed how he entered the I’m A Celebrity jungle with a specific strategy.

Earlier this week, he appeared on the ITV2 aftermath show Unpacked, answering fan questions from the Bush Telegraph.
One asked if there was anything he was scared of, to which Jack replied: ‘Oh, there’s plenty that I’m scared of.
‘But coming in here, I refused to tell the show what I’m actually scared of. I’ve been lying to them the whole time, what I’ve been scared of.’
Joel praised the idea, calling it ‘clever’, as Jack added: ‘I came in being like, “I hate green ants”.
‘I do hate green ants because they destroyed my arm, but every challenge I’ve had, they’ve been like “green ants, green ants.”‘
Meanwhile, in I’m A Celebrity’s line-up reveal video, he previously admitted: ‘I am scared of the bushtucker trials.
‘The advice my mum gave me was “don’t tell them what you’re really afraid of”.
‘There is a chance you’ll hear me say I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.’
Despite having such fears, Jack has been able to push past it as shown by his incredible performance in the Drown the Hatch trial.

Jack confirmed this was true, adding: ‘He pulled guns on people, everything. After she [Sharon] left and took management of my dad, they took them to court, they had to essentially pay him a million dollars to break the contract’
The tricky challenge saw him dive down underwater in eight different chambers to search for stars hidden in hatches.
Jack had two minutes in each chamber, and 12 stars to find in total across the eight chambers which were filled with dragons, mud crabs, eels and toads.
In the end, he successfully collected all 12 stars in record time, and also called the trial ‘fun’.
The ITV hosts took to X after the show to share a snap of Jack as Aquaman as they joked he is ‘JACK-QUA MAN’.
Fans were also very quick to take to social media to praise Jack for ‘bossing the trial’ with many saying how ‘insanely impressed’ they are.
They wrote: ‘I have to say I’ve NEVER seen anyone boss a trial the way Jack Osbourne bossed his trial tonight!’
‘Calling Jack Osbourne nothing but “jaquaman” for the rest of the series.’
‘Jack Osbourne is doing amazing on #ImACeleb. That trial would terrify me.’
‘Jack Osbourne with the healthy lungs!’
I’m A Celebrity continues on ITV1 and ITVX.
