A VPZ spokesman said: “Our commercial partnership continues to go from strength to strength”.
The spokesman confirmed that despite the deal with The E-Cig Store, “there has been no change in our relationship with Morrisons”.
The cost of vaping following the Budget
Vaping costs will soar following the Government new excise tax on any vaping liquid that contains nicotine and includes glycerine, glycol, or both.
From October next year, the cost of filling up a vape will soar to £6.44 from £3.99, according to vapeshop.co.uk.
Chris Price, e-commerce manager at VapeShop.co.uk, said: “In simple terms, this is a major shake-up for the vaping industry, and prices are expected to rise. “
Bigger viles of e-liquid, around 50ml, cost £11.99 now but will rise to £25.20.
The rise in e-liquid duty was first announced in the Spring Budget in 2024 – but was re-confirmed by Rachel Reeves during the Budget announcement.
All vaping products intended for retail sale in the UK will also need to carry a duty stamp on their packaging as part of the new rules.
