His star-studded career, which has involved winning multiple team trophies and individual accolades at the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United, is nearing a conclusion and he looks ready for his next investment opportunity with the launch of Vega.

Libertad Digital report that Inigo Onieva and Mabel Hospitality – the firm of Manuel Campos Guallar and Ronaldo – are ready to launch an exclusive Private Members club in the heart of Spain’s capital city.

It is claimed the aim is to ‘create an elegant and inviting atmosphere where luxury is more of a feeling than a mere decoration’.

The report states that mornings will offer a quiet and sophisticated environment while at night it will transform into a social hub with exclusive dinners and bars.

Business off the park appears to be booming just like on the pitch.

Ronaldo still continues to be prolific at 40 in the Saudi Pro League with Al-Nassr as he prepares for a final crack at the World Cup.

Portugal will be in the finals draw taking place on December 5 as the superstar aims to add the pinnacle international honour to his CV.

Speaking recently about his future after football, Piers Morgan asked Ronaldo about an age in his head for retirement.

Ronaldo said: “Soon. But I think I will be prepared. It will be tough, of course. Yes, I will probably cry.

“I’m an open person. It will be very, very difficult, yes.

“But Piers, I have prepared my future since the age of 25, 26, 27 years old, I prepare [for] my future. So I will be capable of supporting that pressure.”
