A MAN trapped inside a clothes donation box begged for air in a haunting 911 call before his death.
He got stuck when trying to climb into the box, located behind a Houston, Texas, shopping center.

The man called 911 and told the dispatcher he was struggling to breathe.
“I can’t breathe, I’m having problems breathing,” he said.
It appears that the man had gotten stuck inside an anti-theft mechanism.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, but their efforts ultimately proved unsuccessful.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene in the tragedy that occurred just before Thanksgiving.
Mark Herman, a Harris County constable, said the man ended up getting lodged in an “awkward position.”
Danny Garza suggested the man may have panicked after realizing he was stuck, as reported by People.
Investigators are still working out how the man ended up in the box.
Police do not suspect any foul play was involved.
Cops suspect the man was homeless.
It’s not the first time someone has gotten stuck inside a donation box.
Cops have warned that people shouldn’t try to clamber into donation boxes.
“These boxes are not to be accessed,” Herman said.
“They’re clearly designed and built that way. Stay out of these boxes.”
In June last year, a man got trapped in a donation box at a different Houston location, as reported by the Fox affiliate KMPH-TV.
In 2022, tragedy unfolded when a woman died after getting stuck inside a donation box.
She was trying to find clothes for her child.
