TOM Read Wilson revealed his “real voice” on I’m A Celebrity, much to the enjoyment and simultaneous confusion of fans.
On the latest episode of the show, Tom was sitting around the main camp with everyone talking about his dating life.
He sighed, explaining how he “didn’t have much of one” because it was easy for him to “find men” but not so easy to “make them stay”.
Jack Osbourne, son of the belated Ozzy, funnily quipped: “Wait, you’re gay??”, causing the circle of campmates to crack up.
Then Tom, who’s overtly camp and discusses his “feminine side”, demonstrated what his voice would sound like if he were to dial back and speak in a more “masculine way” by hitting on Kelly Brook.
Kelly jokingly asked Tom what his “type” would be in a woman, but his response was priceless.

Tom usually speaks in a higher register and uses sophisticated vocabulary.
Though the moment was overall enjoyed in the jungle, it left viewers at home feeling really confused about which voice was Tom’s “real” one.
“It’s hard to tell which voice is the real Tom,” questioned one user on X.
Others felt the same way, sharing: “Toms manly voice is so good he’s got the nation confused on which ones real.”
Though some fans focused more on the fact that Tom’s higher voice might be him “playing a part”, or putting on some kind of accent.
“Wait so Tom puts that high pitch voice on,” said one user, shocked.
They weren’t the only one surprised by the contrast, as another viewer shared that they couldn’t tell “if that’s Toms real voice or an accent”.
Tom is a singer, actor and TV personality, best known for his quest to find romance on Celebs Go Dating.
After leaving the show empty handed in 2016, he tried his luck on an entirely different kind of programme – Celebrity Best Home Cook.
He finished in runner up position there in 2021, wowing fans with his culinary skills.
Now deep into his jungle journey, an eloquently spoken Tom has been doing all he can to strike up a friendship with lyricist and singer Aitch.
Speaking to The Sun about his desire to befriend the rapper, Tom shared: “You see, that fascinates me, because I know that he’s very bendy with words, which I adore.
“I love new coinings – the reason I’m mad about Shakespeare is all the endless coinings and the sense of play with lexicon.“He’s got that in spades. I know he has.““And I also really think of rap as modern poetry. I wish I could do it.”
