CHELSEA defeated Burnley 2-0 at Turf Moor to overtake Manchester City in second place of the Premier League table.
The Blues are now only three points behind rivals Arsenal, who have a game in hand – as do Man City.

And the West Londoners have a lot to thank Pedro Neto for as he participated in both goals against the Clarets.
Neto, 25, opened the scoring eight minutes before half-time with a stunning diving header from a tight angle down the right after meeting a crisp cross by Jamie Gittens from the opposite side.
The winger then released Marc Guiu down the right and the striker overpowered Burnley ace Axel Tuanzebe to set up Enzo Fernandez for the winner just two minutes before full-time.
But who stood out for Chelsea? SunSport’s Martin Blackburn rates each one of Enzo Maresca’s stars;
ROBERT SANCHEZ – 6
Mad rush of blood early on saw him welly a volley straight at Enzo Fernandez. Only one shot to save but his handling was fine and involved in the move for second goal.
REECE JAMES – 7
England man was showing some positive signs in the first half so it was a surprise when he did not reappear after the break. Looked more of a precaution than another injury setback.
TOSIN ADARABIOYO – 6
Lapse in concentration saw him lose track of Zian Flemming and it could have proved costly. Otherwise did OK against the Clarets forwards.
TREVOH CHALOBAH – 7
Lucky to escape when he stopped a free-kick from Robert Sanchez with his hand but helped restrict the Clarets to minimal chances as the game wore on.

MARC CUCURELLA – 7
Had a hand in the goal with some intelligent build-up play, which opened things up. Pushed up into midfield a lot as he was not troubled defensively.
ENZO FERNANDEZ – 7
Almost knocked out by Sanchez’s early volley straight at his head but got himself together. Nice pass for Pedro Neto when he hit the post and sealed the points by stroking home the second goal.
ANDREY SANTOS – 5
Started so Moises Caicedo could have a breather and Chelsea are not the same without their midfield linchpin. Got away with a couple of loose passes.
PEDRO NETO – 8
By far the brightest spark for Chelsea going forward. Expertly nodded in his fourth of the season to give the visitors the lead and should have had more. Started the move for the second goal too.
JOAO PEDRO – 5
Good chance early in the second half after nice work from Fernandez but blasted over. Took a yellow card for the team when he dragged back Lesley Ugochukwu and off soon afterwards.
JAMIE GITTENS – 6
Denied a certain goal by Kyle Walker’s sliding tackle and provided a super cross to tee up Neto’s opener. Some promising signs from him.
LIAM DELAP – 6
Still looks rusty after his recent hamstring injury but gives Chelsea more options. Waiting for his first goal of the season and had chances before he was subbed.
SUBS
BENOIT BADIASHILE (On for James, 46) – 5
Silly tussle with Maxime Esteve from a corner could have been costly for his team.
MALO GUSTO (On for Delap, 66) – 6
Looked lively in the last quarter of the game.
MARC GUIU (On for Pedro, 75) – 7
Teed up the second goal for Fernandez with some clever wing play.
