TWO twisted parents decapitated their own children before forcing their siblings to look at the headless bodies.
Maurice Jewel Taylor Sr. and Natalie Sumiko Brothwell were found guilty of murdering daughter Maliaka, 13, and son Maurice Jr, 12, in the family’s California home.
After brutally stabbing and ripping off their eldest children’s heads the mum, 48, and dad, 39, made their two youngest sons look at the bloodied remains.
The eight and nine year old were then locked up in their bedrooms without food or water “for several days,” according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
The November 2020 tragedy was described as “a monstrous act of cruelty that shattered an entire family,” by District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman.
He added: “Two innocent children were brutally murdered, and their young brothers were left to live through unimaginable horror.”

It took several days for their crimes to be uncovered.
The children’s bodies and the surviving brothers were found in December after firefighters responded to a gas leak at the house, reports the Los Angeles Times.
Neighbors had reported a pungent smell coming from the house.
Clients of the evil dad, including his personal trainer, went round to the home to investigate after they hadn’t heard from Taylor in several days.
After also smelling the gas they contacted the emergency services.
Lancaster Mayor Rex Parris said the crime could be partly put down to the effects of the Covid pandemic which had shut the world down at the time.
Parris said at that time that it appeared the worsening economy, schools being closed and public spaces shutdown all created a stressful environment in the home.
The parents were found guilty of two felony counts of first-degree murder with special circumstances and two felony counts of child abuse this month.
They are scheduled to be sentenced on January 13 and are facing life in prison.
It comes just days after a mum allegedly drowned her five-week-old baby in a bath after an argument with her partner.
Prosecutors say the woman, 31, confessed after she fled her flat in France before being caught by police.
The mum now faces life behind bars if convicted of murdering a minor.
