Their second match of the international break and final game of World Cup qualifying comes against Denmark.

The Scots were play-off losers against Ukraine in 2022, before going on to be knocked out of the group stage at Euro 2024.

And, there is still a chance they could book their spot at the tournament next summer without the need for a play-off.

SunSport can reveal what Scotland need to qualify for the World Cup.

What do Scotland need to qualify for the World Cup?

The task for Scotland is simple against Denmark.

They must win their final qualifying game against the Danes to automatically qualify.

Scotland have to settle for the play-offs with a draw or loss.

They would then face a one-legged semi-final and then a one-legged final, needing wins in both to make the World Cup.

The Danish side come into the clash top of the group, but only by one point, with 11.

Scotland are behind them in second with ten points.

Denmark had a chance to put any doubt to bed last time out, as Scotland were beaten by Greece, but they dropped two crucial points to Belarus.

Those points may prove to be the difference between Scotland beating them to qualifying or not.
