JON DAHL TOMASSON is a leading name in the frame to become the next manager of Norwich City, according to reports.
We told you just over a week ago that Liam Manning had lost his job at the Canaries after a last-gasp defeat to Leicester City.

Just hours after the final whistle at Carrow Road, the club made an official announcement to confirm the sacking of the now former boss as they now look to put his successor in place.
Former Newcastle striker and Blackburn Rovers boss Tomasson – who has also bossed the likes of Malmo and the Swedish national team – has moved towards the top of the pecking order states Sky Sports while Gary O’Neil has withdrawn from the race, according to Pinkun.
It is claimed the 49-year-old has impressed the Norwich hierarchy and the club want to advanced talks with the final candidates as they reach a ‘critical stage’ in their hunt for Manning’s successor.
Following the decision to sack Manning, a club statement read: “Norwich City can confirm that the club have parted company with head coach Liam Manning.
“Assistant head coach Chris Hogg and first-team coach analyst James Krause have also left the club.
“First-team coach Ryan Garry, supported by goalkeeper coach Tony Roberts and set piece coach Nick Stanley, will take charge of the first team on an interim basis, as the club works to appoint a new head coach.”
Sporting director Ben Knapper added: “We have tried absolutely everything possible to work through this incredibly challenging period but, unfortunately, given the recent run of results and performances, we have been left with no choice other than to make a change at this stage.
“Liam and his staff worked tirelessly to move our football club forward. They are all fundamentally good people and we wish them the very best in whatever comes next.

“We very much understand the frustration and criticism from our supporters at this stage. So far, results and performances on the pitch haven’t been good enough.
“We accept that responsibility, but it’s now imperative that we start to repair the relationship with our supporters and do everything we can to give them something to get behind.”
Norwich sit second bottom of the Championship table with only Sheffield Wednesday behind them in the standings.
They’ve managed just nine points from 15 matches so far this season – winning only two games in the league to date.
They face three games in the next week following the November international break with a trip to newly promoted Birmingham City first up on Saturday.
It’s then back-to-back home clashes with Oxford United and QPR.
