Former Wimbledon finalist stuns in see-through top as she’s dubbed ‘best thing to come out of Canada since maple syrup’

TENNIS icon Eugenie Bouchard may have stepped away from the court – but she has still sent fans wild by sharing stunning snaps on social media.

The Canadian retired after competing in her hometown’s National Bank Open in Montreal in July.

It ended a career in which Bouchard reached the Wimbledon final – only to be defeated by Petra Kvitova in straight sets in 2014.

Her decision to step away from the sport came a matter of weeks after she made a shock return despite going pro in pickleball.

And Bouchard stunned fans by taking to Instagram to post photos of her in a see-through top when enjoying cocktails in New York.

The former world No5, who also reached the semi-finals of the Australian and French Open in 2014, had fans flooding into the comments section.

Bouchard also included a short video with the two snaps.

The 31-year-old last featured in a professional tennis match in May 2024 ahead of her return to action in July.

Her final appearance at a Grand Slam event came in the US Open qualifiers in August 2023.

Bouchard brought the curtain down on her career with a 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 loss to Belinda Bencic in the second round of the National Bank Open, leading to her breaking down in tears.

She had extended her run in the Montreal tournament by overcoming Emiliana Arango to seal her first WTA Tour victory since 2023.
