EMMA RADUCANU caught fans off-guard when they noticed who she was sat next to as she watched England rugby’s clash with New Zealand.
The British tennis icon was in attendance at Twickenham’s Allianz Stadium as England attempted to beat the All Blacks for the first time since 2019.
But she was not alone, being joined by a famous face from outside the world of sports.
Raducanu, 23, was spotted alongside English actress Simone Ashley as the pair cheered on the home side in what proved to be a thrilling clash.
Ashley is best known for her roles in Netflix series Bridgerton and Sex Education.
She has developed a huge following off-screen, amassing over FOUR MILLION followers on Instagram.
And it seems some of that number are rugby fans as well, as audiences noticed her in the stands for the contest.
One surprised fan asked social media: “Was it simone ashley with Emma Raducanu???”

She withdrew from her last two events of the campaign after suffering with illness at the Wuhan and Ningbo Opens.
Now she is enjoying some rest and relaxation before beginning her preparations for next season.
