The winner of Big Brother 2025 has been revealed during the reality show’s live final on Friday evening.

Presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best presented the conclusion of the seven-week long series outside the spy house’s compound in West London.

The duo crossed live to the house to reveal Richard Storry is this year’s winner after receiving the most votes from the public.

Richard, 60, who admitted he almost didn’t apply for Big Brother, was left visibly stunned by the news.

During his interview with AJ and Will, they revealed how Richard is now the show’s oldest ever winner in its 25-year history.

Elsa finished in second place and left the Big Brother house to a roaring applause from the audience.

Fans flooded social media with comments: ‘How can anybody say Richard was boring after watching those highlights?! THE DESERVED WINNER’,

‘I’m so happy that Richard one! Not because he needed to, but because he is now the oldest ever Big Brother winner!’,

‘This series was a real mix bag for me, but it ended with the perfect winner imo. Congratulations Richard’,

‘Richard is such a worthy and deserving winner.’

During the final viewers watched as Tate finished in sixth place before AJ and Will announced Emily placed fifth.

It was then announced farmer Cameron had finished in fourth place before Jenny finished in third.

Tonight’s show also saw ITV officially confirm Big Brother will return for another series in 2026.

Applications have now opened, with potential housemates being asked to commit up to eight weeks for the programme next autumn.

Composer and author Richard, from London, might have been a late addition to the household, but he has won over the public with his reaction to evicted housemate Caroline’s behaviour towards him.

Some of the insults levelled at Richard included Caroline’s claim that he was ‘boring’ and she went as far as to compare him to Mr Bean in her exit interview where she declared: ‘Richard is not funny.’

Richard had been a clear favourite to win the reality show for some weeks now, bookies slashing his odds to 1/5.

It was previously revealed how controversial housemate George was disinvited from the live finale after being removed from the house.

George since broke his silence and accused the channel of ‘leaving his life in tatters’ following his removal.

Celebrity Big Brother is expected to return in Spring when the iconic house reopens for a new batch of famous faces.

ITV bosses asked him to leave after what they said was ‘repeated warnings’ about his ‘offensive behaviour’.

MARCUS

FROM: Manchester

OCCUPATION: Mechanical Engineer

WHY DID YOU APPLY TO BE ON THIS NEW SERIES OF BIG BROTHER? I just thought why not – this is something that not many people get the opportunity to do, and to say that I’ve done it is so surreal – those are the sort of things I love to do.

NANCY

TATE

AGE: 27
